Former police commissioner is born
On this day 31 May 1964, Masupha Masupha, an erstwhile commissioner of police in Lesotho, was born.
Masupha was one of the most influential police public relations figures before assuming the position of deputising Khothatso Ts’ooana as police commissioner.
After Ts’ooana was unceremoniously sacked as police commissioner, Masupha became acting police commissioner in October 2014 until he was pushed out in favour of Holomo Molibeli 4 months later.
