Air Zimbabwe will fly Harare to London Gatwick three times a week from 22 July, restoring a direct link between Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom.
AIR Zimbabwe will resume direct scheduled passenger flights between Harare and London Gatwick on 22 July 2026, the national carrier said in a statement from Harare on 9 July.
The service will operate three times a week. Flights will leave Harare on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with return flights from London Gatwick on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. At Gatwick the airline will operate from the South Terminal.

The airline said the route would support tourism, trade, investment and links with the Zimbabwean diaspora, and Zimbabwe’s economic engagement with the United Kingdom.
Air Zimbabwe has also published promotional opening fares, which it said are subject to availability and to its terms and conditions.

The route has been suspended for years. Its return restores a direct connection between Harare and London for travellers who have had to fly via a third country.
