MBABANE – The Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini has announced that eleven (11) third-country nationals are expected to arrive from the United States of America during October 2025 as part of an ongoing cooperation agreement between the two nations.
According to a statement released by the Acting Government Spokesperson, Thabile Mdluli, the individuals will be housed in a secure area, separate from the public, while arrangements for their repatriation to their respective countries of origin are finalized.
The Eswatini Government said it will collaborate with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the relevant governments to ensure the safe return and reintegration of the migrants. Two more individuals are reportedly set to be repatriated soon, following the successful return of another third-country national on 21 September 2025 with assistance from the Government of Jamaica.
Authorities have reassured the public that the migrants pose no security threat to Eswatini or its neighbouring countries.
