Led by Prime Minister Sam Matekane, the Lesotho delegation to the Africa Down Under (ADU) held in Pan Pacific, Perth, Australia forms part of the 14 African nations to partake in this 22nd edition of the summit.
Among some of the key focus areas which the delegation aims to reach include building new networks and strengthening the already existing, securing viable sales prospects as well as maximizing the country’s brand exposure.
Africa Down Under is the leading forum for Australian-African business and government relations. Originally launched to highlight Australia’s interest in African mining and energy, the three-day event has grown into the largest African-focused mining gathering outside the continent. It draws high-profile participants each year, providing a platform for investment, partnerships and knowledge exchange
According to the statement released on the Government of Lesotho’s social media platforms, the delegation will take advantage of its presence at this summit to “promote the nation’s developments, products and services while engaging with key resource buyers, procurement specialists and decision makers.”
